Mission Statement
The Sliabh Sneacht Centre is a Community Resource, Heritage Centre, and Social Enterprise based in Inishowen. We are dedicated to serving individuals of all ages by providing inclusive access to meeting spaces, advice, information and guidance, as well as opportunities for health, education, social engagement, and leisure. As a social enterprise, we reinvest in our community to create lasting social impact and promote local wellbeing.

Located in the heart of Inishowen, Co. Donegal, the Sliabh Sneacht Centre is a dynamic space where culture, connection, and outdoor exploration come together. Whether you’re here to discover local history, take part in community activities, or set off on an adventure, this is your
gateway to discover the beauty of Inishowen.
Our Story
Built with heart and vision, the Centre opened its doors in June 2014 thanks to the incredible support and fundraising of the local community and funding from the Inishowen Development Partnership. Inspired by Chuck Feeney’s philosophy of “Giving While Living”, the project brought
together skilled tradespeople who volunteered their time to build a space where locals and visitors could gather.

The centre has multiple rooms suitable to host meetings, training sessions, conferences, celebrations, craft fairs and gatherings in a welcoming environment.
Creative Workshops
Activities range from arts and craft classes, health and wellness sessions, to local meetups.
Multi-purpose Sports Hall
Home to Drumfries youth club, fitness classes, and community events.

Walking & Hiking Trails
Discover scenic routes and breathtaking views just steps from our door. Situated at the base of Sliabh Sneacht (615m) Inishowen’s highest peak, the Centre is the perfect launchpad for outdoor enthusiasts.
